The staff and Dr. Utterback are friendly and professional. With skill and patience, they have helped me to find the perfect dental appliance to control my sleep apnea. My nights are better and my energy level during the day is significantly improved. I appreciate their skilled, caring demeanor.. if a CPAP appliance or surgery are not viable options, I would highly recommend this office for a dental appliance.

I had 2 sleep studies which were negative despite snoring and being sleepy most of the day. I had been using over the counter snore guards and had terrible jaw pain, headaches, TMJ. I went into Dental Sleep Solutions desperate for relief as others told me since my sleep studies were “normal” they couldn’t do anything to help. Dr. Utterback was very informative and detailed, giving me alot of info and recognizing my frustrations and reassuring me he could help me. I was fitted for a custom mouth guard which eliminated my snoring, did away with all of my headaches, jaw pain and I wake up filling well rested. His staff was also very very helpful and I would highly recommend his practice!

I have had an outstanding experience with Dr. Utterback and his entire staff. It can take a little time to get things just perfect but it is time well spent! Everyone in his office is helpful, knowledgeable and kind! Highly recommend to everyone ready to give up their CPAP.

I was basically up a creek without a paddle before seeing Dr. Utterback. C-PAP didn't work and due to bulging discs from an auto accident, the CPAP use gave me severe nerve compression in my neck. I was living with sleep apnea, exhausted every day, barely functioning, and couldn't work. I was very depressed. Then I went to Dental Sleep Solutions. I found out, (ENT doctor missed this entirely), that I had a small mouth and throat, but a normal sized tongue that was slipping back and blocking my airway as soon as I hit REM sleep. And this issue often shows up after menopause. I was a perfect candidate for a custom made oral appliance. I noticed a difference after wearing it one night. As the week went on I was ecstatic. I could think again. I was alert. I could remember things. I had energy. I could do long division again. (I was losing abilities due to sleep deprivation.) Best of all, my health improved. I wasn't depriving my body of oxygen every night. Everyone noticed how much better I was functioning.
